Windows TAPI
Support:
Setting up your modem is quick and easy with Windows TAPI (telephony interface) support.
InfoRad uses your current Windows modem information for simple communications
setup. Advanced configuration options include an innovative custom modem initialization
feature that allows InfoRad to build a custom setup specifically for your modem. |
- InfoRad uses your computer's modem to
dial into your Paging Service Provider's Access Phone Number. They will provide it to you.
(This number is different from your alphanumeric pager number.)
- After a connection is made to the
paging service provider, InfoRad uploads the alphanumeric pager number and the message you
wish to send.
- After InfoRad hangs up, your paging
service provider broadcasts the message through the paging system to the alphanumeric
pager.
